Witberg Wind Farm was developed by G7 Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd, a South African IPP based in Cape Town and founded in 2008.
G7 has developed several wind farm projects since its inception, namely Roggeveld, Brandvalley, Klawer and Rietkloof, as well as the groundbreaking Oya Hybrid Energy Project, which consists of Solar, Wind and Storage, for the South African Risk Mitigation IPP Procurement Programme.
The Witberg Wind Farm is located between Touws River and Laingsburg in the Western Cape. Witberg Wind Farm is a 108MW onshore wind power project.
