Witberg Wind Farm is a renewable energy project originally developed by G7 Renewable Energies, a South African independent power producer (IPP) and renewable energy developer.
G7 has developed several wind farm projects since its inception, namely Roggeveld, Brandvalley, Klawer and Rietkloof, as well as the groundbreaking Oya Hybrid Energy Project, which consists of Solar, Wind and Storage, for the South African Risk Mitigation IPP Procurement Programme.
The 108 MW Witberg Wind Farm is an onshore wind energy project located between Touws River and Laingsburg in South Africa’s Western Cape.
